The Commission’s purpose is to be informed on social problems of the community and relate them to the mission and unity of the Church. 

Commission on Christian Social Relations members include:

• Representative to the American Bible Society

• Representative to Church Women United

• Chairperson of Home and Family Life

  • Home and Family Life: This Commission develops programs and activities that promote life skills.

• Correspondent to the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women

• Representative to the National Council of Negro Women

• Representative to Bread for the World

• Representative of the Elnora P. Hamb Health Initiative

  • Elnora P. Hamb Health Initiative: This Commission trains, educates and serves as an advocate for Afro-American women to be aware of life-threatening health issues.
